Since late 2019 to the present, I have suffered betrayal by many “friends,” colleagues, and even family members.

Initially, I tried to figure out what was going on as I did not understand it. I tried to identify the cause of the betrayals and “fix” it to mend the relationships.

I was a miserable failure. My efforts were rejected and in some instances, only made the situation worse.

Over time, as I continued to study the Holy Bible and talk to God in prayer, I came to understand that “I” could not fix anything.

Only God can restore those relationships if it is His will to do so.

So I pray for those whose have betrayed me and I maintain a spirit of forgiveness if ever asked for forgiveness. In my mind and heart, I forgive them already even if they do not ask for forgiveness.

God knows which relationships He will restore and which He will not restore.

I pray that they will ALL be restored as the betrayal has been from people I genuinely loved and still love.

However, I recognize that God is in control, not me.

His will be done. Not mine.

I surrendered the broken relationships to God.

Jesus Christ is God.

I do not believe that a TRUE follower of Jesus Christ would ever betray, abandon, or seek to harm another follower of Jesus Christ.

I continue to pray for my enemies as I do NOT want anyone to spend eternity in hell in eternal torment, not even my worst enemies.
